SMOPYC, the international exhibition for construction machinery, civil engineering, and mining, took place from November 21 to 25 in Zaragoza, Spain. The 19th edition provided an opportunity for the Spanish subsidiary, through its 210 m² booth, to promote its comprehensive 360° solutions, incorporating cutting-edge aerial work platforms, combined services, and digital tools.
Innovation & technologies focus
Haulotte Ibérica presented a stand that emphasized innovation and technologies aimed at enhancing the daily lives of operators and the work of its clients. In this context, the Spanish subsidiary offered visitors a deeper insight into the FASTN anchoring system, the SHERPAL telematics solution, MyHaulotte digital tool, its Second Life refurbishment offers, and the Group's ESG vision.
Premiered at the APEX 2023 exhibition, the FASTN anchoring system is the first universal and active anchoring system for aerial work platforms. FASTN operates on the same principle as a car's seatbelt. If the operator is not secured to the FASTN anchoring system while working, the system emits a visual and audible alert, similar to a car.
The objective of FASTN is to offer a smart solution to tackle one of the leading cause of casualties on MEWPs, operator’s fall. It will help rental companies to enrich their safety and digital offer and construction companies to support their zero accident strategies.
On the product front, visitors had the opportunity to discover or rediscover a comprehensive range of Haulotte models, including the HA26 RTJ PRO, HS15 E PRO all-rough terrain electric scissor lifts from the PULSEO Generation Range, the STAR 10 vertical mast, and three models from the Low Level Access Range. The lineup perfectly illustrated the breadth of the French manufacturer's aerial work platform range.

Haulotte Ibérica collaborated with AFUPRO, a European association dedicated to supporting and training technical and professional trades, during the national technician competition. Some elimination rounds took place at the SMOPYC exhibition, with students from across Spain participating. Haulotte Ibérica provided several of its machines present at the exhibition for these competitions.
