On July 23th, Haulotte Changzhou factory blew out its 10 candles.
A 10th anniversary as a symbol of the development of the Asian market
Ten years have passed since the opening of the Haulotte factory in Jiangsu Province, China. Intended to serve the Chinese domestic market, the plant now manufactures and exports electric scissor lifts, vertical masts and articulating booms to Asia Pacific, Europe and the United States. The factory witnessed and supported China’s aerial work platform industry growth and qualitative changes. Haulotte COO Patrice Métairie recalled “Haulotte has always believed in the Chinese market. We will continue to invest and face the challenges in China” Haulotte’s goal is to increase and diversify its production in China in order to match the expansion of the Asian market.
All gathered to celebrate this significant milestone
A ceremony in attendance of Haulotte corporate governance was organized to mark the occasion. Almost 220 people attended the event, among them Changzhou Xinbei District officials, Haulotte’s APAC teams, Changzhou factory’s employees, suppliers and customers. During the dinner, Alexandre Saubot, CEO of Haulotte Group, thanked the guests for their close collaboration. A prize also rewarded Changzhou early employees for their outstanding involvement in the past ten years. Finally, a graffiti wall created onsite with messages from all participants will be exhibited in the factory.
